Safety is our first priority. We have teachers on staff who are Red Cross Certified in Child/Infant CPR/AED/First Aid as well as Red Cross lifeguard certified. Our head instructors are USA Swim Coach Certified. Our teachers are trained in the Sweetman Method, using protocols developed over the past 60 years within our family. Our family has taught over 50,000 children to swim in TN.
We maintain regular pool maintenance and cleaning, ensuring our facilities are safe and healthy.
Beginner Swim Lessons are $215 per student per week. This is recommended for children with no experience. The focus will be on water safety and water survival skills. We begin accepting students at fifteen months of age for this level.
Beginner strokes lessons are $200 per student per week. This level is recommended for children who have completed the beginner level. This course teaches freestyle and backstroke techniques. We will continue to strengthen children's abilities in the water as well as their confidence.
Advanced Strokes Lessons are $200 per student per week. This level is recommended for children who have already completed the beginner and beginner strokes levels. This class will teach all four strokes, including breastroke and butterfly. Swimmers will master perfect technique in all 4 strokes, dives, and survival treading. All advanced swimmers will be able to graduate the program once they pass a 45 minute survival treading class in waves. This equips them for any survival scenario, and determines complete proficiency. Once children graduate, they will be prepared for joining a swim team.
Yes! We offer a competitive swim team program for children. Please visit www.stacswimming.com if you are interested in joining the team. Our swim team participants have the opportunity to compete in local and regional swim meets.
